Blended Learning

What is Blended Learning?

“Blended learning combines face-to-face interaction with a teacher in a brick-and-mortar school location, with additional instruction — whether live and or recorded – conducted in an online learning environment that allows for digital content, personalized learning, and collaboration with fellow students.” from Blackboard.com

Blended learning combines traditional classroom teaching methods with technology such as the use of instructional videos, online tutorials, webinars, etc. to help create the most effective and efficient instructional plan for the student. Blended learning allows students more control over their learning, as well as, differentiates instruction; meeting the students where they are and helping them move onward.

Currently at Grass Valley, we are using online educational programs in both Reading and Math to meet the needs of our diverse learners.
