Physical Education

At Grass Valley, we are fortunate to have a number of outdoor spaces which allow children to move, run, exercise and play. Students have structured physical activities at least once a week, run the Oakland based Physical Education program, HERO.

"At Help Everyone Reach One, our promise is to equip students with life skills to utilize on and off the playgrounds. Our goal is to get students active and engaged. We promise to maintain a positive playground atmosphere that allows students to grow and develop."

"The purpose of Help Everyone Reach One’s curriculum is to teach life skills through games and activities. We are constantly introducing new games that are centered around our monthly theme. Who said learning can’t be fun?"
